 Viewing tips

Full Screen viewingInternet browsers normally have header, footer
and scroll bars which clutter the view.
Pressing the F11 key in many browsers
      (on the
top bank of your keyboard) makes most screen clutter disappear. You can then view up and down the web page by:
dragging the slider in the right-side scroll barclicking in the spaces above and below the

slider clicking the up/down arrow icons above/below
the sliderusing the up and down arrow keysusing the Page Up and Page Down keysusing the mouse wheelYou can return to Normal View by pressing F11
again. There are reminders at the top left corner of each
page on this web site just in case you
forget!

Getting back from other web pages
Useful when using Full Screen mode .....
Hold down the "Alt" key and click the
     key
orBackspace key - the big "Delete" key
        above the Return key
The two methods above seem to work - unless your new web page was opened in a new window or Tab!
There are reminders at the top right corner of
      recent
pages on this web site just in case you
forget!

Refresh or Reload the web page - to update or see any changes

Stereo Stereo has been discontinued due
to the work involved and the lack of interest shown, the last stereo page was
    12th June 2008.
To see Dartmoor at its best, some photos will be presented in stereo - these can be
seen by clicking on the "This
page in stereo" link on each normal pageThe photos are in anaglyph form and this
means that red/blue viewers are necessaryThe best viewing, to get the stereo full stereo
effect, is to darken the room. Also, to use the F11 - Full Screen view, sit back
from the screen and simply  "gaze" into the scene
Simple card viewers can be obtained by sending an
SAE (self-addressed envelope) with a 1st or 2nd class stamp attached to:
