Directions from Princetown/Tavistock:

1. Drive east from Two Bridges towards Dartmeet - don't turn off towards Postbridge.
2. After 1.3 miles (2.2 km), go over the Lower Cherry Brook Bridge and continue, passing Dunnabridge Pound on the LEFT.
3. Look for a big green FOREST INN sign at a turning into a side road on the RIGHT with trees on the LEFT.
4. TURN RIGHT, continue down the hill past St Raphael's Chapel and over the narrow bridge over the West Dart .
5. Continue up the hill, passing the Forest Inn on the RIGHT and along the road, passing Combestone Tor on the LEFT.
6. Drive on over the hill and down to see VENFORD RESERVOIR down on the RIGHT.
7. The car park and toilets are on the LEFT before crossing the dam.
