There is an easy route from the EAST from the A38 exit to NEWTON
ABBOT / WIDECOMBE (follow Widecombe) - the car park is right
beside the 4th cross-roads, over the road and on the right.
Another appproach is from the WEST (Postbridge) through Widecombe
following the HAYTOR / BOVEY TRACEY B3387 signs. Climb the
hill out of Widecombe, pass the turning to HOUND TOR (on the
LEFT), at the next junction (no sign post?) - BEAR OFF RIGHT
towards Ashburton. The car park is at the NEXT CROSSROADS
(on the RIGHT).
Another approach is from BOVEY TRACEY, passing HAYTOR, and
TURN HAIRPIN LEFT at the next road junction, towards ASHBURTON.
